On March 25, at the Global Audio Summit
(GAS), Goertek showcased its full-stack acoustic solutions for smart glasses,
introducing its proprietary voice separation algorithm for the first time. The
presentation systematically demonstrated the company’s end-to-end acoustic
capabilities spanning “voice pickup enhancement and immersive audio.”
In the area of voice pickup enhancement,
Goertek addressed a common industry challenge for smart glasses—vocal overlap
and inaccurate AI recognition during two-way conversations and translation in
complex environments—with the launch of its dual-channel voice separation algorithm.
Compatible with various microphone array configurations and integrating deep
neural network (DNN)-based noise reduction, the solution accurately captures
the voices of both the wearer and the speaker in real time, even in noisy
settings. Whether for two-way conversations or translation scenarios, it
effectively isolates the target voice. The solution also incorporates
AI-powered intelligent call noise reduction, a VPU (bone conduction) nose pad
module, stereo recording, and omnidirectional/near-field/far-field pickup
capabilities, enabling smart glasses to deliver a voice interaction experience
defined by “strong noise reduction, clear listening, accurate recognition, and
stable separation” across all scenarios.

In the area of immersive audio, Goertek has
developed custom high-performance speakers for smart glasses, integrating four
proprietary core algorithms—bass enhancement, dynamic interference suppression,
distortion cancellation, and stereo spatialization. These technologies achieve
an equivalent bass perception improvement of 3dB, over 90% interference
suppression, and up to 80% distortion cancellation, significantly enhancing
soundstage immersion and delivering a 360° immersive audio experience. This
effectively addresses industry challenges related to loudness, distortion, and
immersion in lightweight smart glasses.
Additionally, Goertek presented its
one-stop audio toolchain solution, covering the entire process from algorithm
design and simulation debugging to mass production. The solution can shorten
audio application development cycles by approximately 60%, helping global
partners accelerate the innovation and deployment of audio products.
Looking ahead, Goertek will continue to
deepen its expertise in acoustic technology, driving synergistic breakthroughs
across algorithms, hardware, and processes. The company remains committed to
collaborating with industry partners to shape the next-generation audio
experience for smart glasses in the AI era.
