On August 28, the China National Intellectual Property Administration unveiled the winners of the 26th China Patent Awards. Goertek claimed two awards: a Silver Patent Award for "A Head-Mounted Display Device and Its Data Acquisition Method, Apparatus, and Host," and an Excellence Patent Award for "A Control Method and Apparatus for a VR/AR Audio Vibration Damping Device, and Electronic Equipment Thereof."
Since 2021, Goertek has garnered the Silver Patent Award three times, along with multiple Excellence Awards.The China Patent Awards are the nation's only official accolade dedicated to recognizing patented innovations, widely regarded as the highest honor in China's intellectual property landscape.
R&D and innovation remain foundational to Goertek's strategy. In the first half of 2026, Goertek invested RMB 2.36 billion in R&D—representing 5.89% of its operating revenue and has filed over 38,000 patents cumulatively to date.
Looking ahead, Goertek will continue to be driven by technological innovation, pursuing breakthroughs in precision components across acoustics, optics, and electronics, as well as AI-powered smart terminals, to fuel high-quality industrial development.
